Network and Computer Systems Administrator

Job Duties:
Administer, configure, and maintain the organization's network and computer systems infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance. Design, deploy, and manage physical and virtual servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and enterprise cloud environments using Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. Monitor system performance, network traffic, and server health; identify bottlenecks and implement capacity planning. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network configuration issues and perform root cause analysis. Implement and enforce IT security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and role-based access controls. Develop and maintain automated scripts in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for system administration, patch management, and software deployment. Architect data backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and failover procedures. Collaborate with software development and operations teams to integrate network infrastructure with web applications, shipping and logistics platforms, and relational databases. Evaluate emerging network and cloud technologies and recommend upgrades. Create and maintain technical documentation including network topology diagrams, configuration specifications, and standard operating procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Network cloud administration skills required. No prior employment experience required.
