What is the difference between EDDM and addressed direct mail?
EDDM reaches eligible delivery addresses on complete USPS carrier routes without a purchased list of individual names. Addressed direct mail uses specific recipient addresses, such as a customer list you are authorized to use. We review the appropriate mailing method and available preparation services for your project.
Can I choose exactly 500 homes or a radius around my business?
Your preferred area and quantity are a starting point. EDDM uses complete carrier routes, so the confirmed count depends on the selected routes rather than an exact radius or arbitrary number of homes. Review the route coverage and final count before approving the quote.
Can I use any postcard size for EDDM?
No. EDDM Retail requires qualifying USPS Marketing Mail flats. A standard small postcard may not qualify. We review the finished size, paper, weight, and required postal markings before you approve printing.
Can WeShip help if I do not have a design?
Request design or layout help in your campaign brief. Share your business name, offer, brand assets, and call to action. Staff confirms design scope, revisions, pricing, and the proof-approval process in your quote.
What is included in my quote?
The written quote identifies the agreed design, printing, mailing preparation, postage, and any transport or postal drop-off charges. It also confirms who handles each step. Prices and turnaround are confirmed for your campaign before you approve production.
Should I upload my customer mailing list here?
No. Submit only your approximate list size and general audience description. If addressed mailing is supported for your project, staff will arrange an appropriate transfer method and confirm list preparation. Do not paste recipient addresses or other personal information into the inquiry.
Do you guarantee delivery dates or campaign results?
No. Production and postal handoff dates are agreed after review; USPS delivery timing and customer response are not guaranteed. Ask about using a campaign-specific offer code, landing page, or QR code to help measure responses.
